Hi every one Im going to clophill church this weekend and wounderd if any one can tell me anything abought it from there own exc
periances.I have read some stuff on it but would like to hear more.
Is it realy as scarry as people say.  I'v been to a lot of places that are said to be haunted and have found them to be realy peacefull. But from what Iv heard this church is realy bad.

Hi Ali G,
I have heard that clophill in bedforshire is quite an active place, i know that a figure of a nun has been seen there many times, and also the church on the hill was built facing the wrong way,(unholy) and that some supposed witches were buried up there, but their graves were removed and placed away from the main church yard, also alot of black magic has been praticed up there, mainly on a certain night of the year so much so that the police stop people going up there on that night, one of my friends told me that he went up there (at night) parked the car and walked to the ruined church had a look around came back to the car and the stereo was on full volume and the car areial was up which could only have happend if the car was started but he had the keys on his person, and the stereo was not on when he left it and the areial was down,
also the institute of paranormal research has on it's website some video footage taken at clophill church containing what looks like a female figure on it, check it out

HI ALI G,
HOW WAS CLOPHILL?
My nephew has been there on a few occasions and he said it is not a nice place to go. He has been on many ghost invest and says he did not like it there at all, it is a very bad place.

Hi Spooky,
I would say yes it would be worth your while taking a visit to clophill one night, but dont go alone!! mainly for safety reasons i/e if you were to have an accident etc,. Also if you do experience anything unusual you will have a wittness to back you up....
And as yet we have not heard back from Ali G since he's visited the place ............. so who knows whats happened to him!!!!

This very subject is the reason I registered here because I have been to the church. I went there very late one night with three friends and what we encountered was nothing like we expected. Basically, we didn't know anything about the place at all. We actually came upon it by luck as we were out for a drive one night and we came across the place by chance and thought it looked interesting. It was very dark that night but our path was lit by a very bright moon. It was obviously a special night because there were a lot of people around dressed in very gothic clothes. As we got into the grounds, we saw them all running the other way to get out of the place! This didn't put us off and we continued towards the church. As we were walking, we all saw a figure float above the church! This was many years ago but I can still picture it today. It totally freaked us out. I'm getting chills up my spine as I type this. We didn't run. We continued towards the church. I don't know if it was stupidity or bravery but I am glad we did. We didn't see anything else but the place is certainly atmospheric. Very eerie indeed.
I'd love to go back there one day. Despite being really frightened it sealed my belief that ghosts do exist because I saw one with my own two eyes and I have three friends who saw the exact same thing. Alcohol played no part! That place is definitely haunted and I'd recommend anyone who is interested to go there one night, but beware of kids playing silly beggars up there. Sadly, it obviously attracts a lot of attention and gives people the opportunity to play pranks. That said, a figure floating that high up was no prank. If it was, I'd love to know how they pulled it off!

We went to Clophill Church 2 weeks ago. Not a great deal happened. We had a few very faint EMF readings. Also when we where in the Church itself (there where only 2 of us there that night) I heard a distint "pop" sound followed by a series of taps. We picked this up on video & ive uploaded it to the website.
We also had a strange light appear and dissipate on tape. Now this could be a car light I suppose, but I distinclty remember when your in the church looking out the large back opening, there is an upwards slope before it goes to a downwards slope. This light appeared in the doorway quite near the bottom. It didnt move just appeared from nowhere then dissapered. Its on the site to so have a look and let me know what you think.

Ive just recieved a phone call from one of our group members who has noticed something on a picture I took in Clophill. What I had thought was just a bit of breath mist appears to have a something in it. Ignore the black circle & look at the mist. I wont tell you what myself and Andrea see, I would like to know what you see to make sure we're not both seeing things!
