I have just moved into my first house with my fiancé. Now! I don't remember a dog in the move... I know there was a bed and a TV and such, but no dog!

So how is it I have seen a dog leaving rooms I am in or near to. Just out of the corner of your eye, you'll catch it - just walking through the doorway then just vanish! My fiancé has seen it once, my best-friend has seen it 2 or 3 times and myself a total of 5 times... In the WHOLE two weeks we have been here. We also get a very strong smell of doggy number 1's and 2's for a second or two then just vanish.

Is my house haunted by a dog? It doesn't bother us in the slightest - infact it's pretty cool and interesting.

aww bless............how sweet(apart from the niff's!)...hehe
well, technically, as mediums etc tell us, that animals indeed do haunt places too, so........

Wow that is rather strange. I never have believed that animals leave an energy signature behind to haunt a building. Though I have heard of children - mourning over the loss of their pets - have shall we say, "brought them back" with their own strengths. Much like a child reaching puberty would if she encounters a "poltergeist". They are created. But this is very strange. Never have I heard of it when a family moves in and actually sees a dog or cat that once lived there. No, this is strange. Very intriguing. Well think of it as a freindly guardian.

Smile

I have seen spirit cats and spirits dogs on vigils so I see no reason why this should not be the same. Quite possibly if my senses were alert to smells I would smell the dogs too but I only very rarely can smell anything paranormal! 2 mediums have also seen my old cat at my Mum's house.....

Best wishes.

Angela

Hiya,
I was at my in laws house a while ago. My mother in law is a very clean lady and the house is always spotless. We all sat around the table talking of their dog who had passed away and recounting fond memories of their pet, when I was overcome by the smell of dog. Now of course this could have been auto-suggestive, however it did linger around for a while and as my in laws house is so clean it could not possibly have been any doggy smell residue and it had been quite some time since the dog passed. Also we have discussed the dog on many more occasions and I haven't been aware of a doggy smell.
